What is your background?
I initially spent over twenty years in the Armed Forces and during my last twelve years, whilst still serving, I trained as a Counsellor.
After leaving the services I attained a BSc Honours Degree in Psychology at Surrey University.
I then worked at a number of residential treatment facilities for emotional and psychological disorders, which included Priory Health Care and Prinsted Limited, whilst also working in private practice.
I spent ten years backwards and forwards to the United States of America training and gaining experience in the treatment of trauma and sexual compulsivity.
Today I work with a wide range of people from all walks of professional and personal life.
I have combined clinical and business experience with which to evaluate and assess individual and collective needs. This informs and facilitates personal and organisational change.
Since 1990 I have worked within the 12 Step program for the recovery and treatment of addictive disorders, offering complimentary support to people from the different fellowships.
I have worked as a Counsellor and Coach since 1994.
